This update is relevant to several Citrix products delivering ICA sessions with enhanced multi-monitor capabilities. Local Desktop and Microsoft RDP sessions are not affected. In the last few month (starting September 2007) Citrix had added emulation of multi-monitor capabilities within full screen ICA sessions where local client monitor configuration is communicated to the Citrix server via Virtual Channel and attempt is made to emulate multi-monitor support within a single remote monitor offered by an ICA session. At the moment VDM configuration supersedes Citrix multi-monitor support offering improved multi-monitor capabilities. Next version of Virtual Display Manager will allow direct interaction with Citrix virtual displays with ability to subdivide them into additional Virtual Displays controlled by VDM. *Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 FR1 and Citrix Desktop Server 2.0
