Hi Alex, just to inform, you: as I have shown you on PubForum the actual Beta still has a lot of problems showing the "options menu" on my DELL notebook. The options vanishes while moving the mouse. regards, jeppe@computerlinks.de

Yes, it is confirmed that some Dell notebooks have reproducible issues with iShadow Desktop. Although most issues I have seen were on German systems, I did get the confirmation of a similar situation on the English version of Windows XP. Here is what I know at this point: The splash screen does not show any text (i.e. "www.ishadow.com" and Build ID) is not shown. Note that these text objects are in Tahoma font, which should not be an issue with Windows XP of any flavor. There is nothing special, i.e. these are not based on fancy GDI calls. The tree representation of Favorites has issues displaying icons (?). Not sure exactly what the issue is. When editing favorites via Edit Favorites window the pop-up menu (after the right-click) does not allow creation of the child folders - only subfolders for Favorites root can be created. A temporary workaround is to use the toolbar on the same screen. I would like to get some feedback from all Dell owners interested in making iShadow Desktop to work within their respective environments. So please post your feedback on what is "broken" within the iShadow Desktop so we can fix it.
