Hi,

We are presently evaluating VMware VDI for desktop virtualization. We have 2-3-4 monitor setups for all users and would like to have same when we use a VM with VDI but seems like this is not available by default with Vmware. It looks like this site has details about using multi monitor but just working if its possible to integrate it with VMware VDI and then use it from my local machine and use virtual multi monitors on virtual machine. I haven't completely read the different tools available but looks like ishoaw desktop and virtual desktop manager are two products seems applicable but not sure if my requirement will be met using any of these.

Thanks

Looks like VDM is the right fit for you, although iShadow Desktop will be a perfect replacement for mstsc.exe when accessing virtual machines. If you are in remote session you can use VDM installed on the target machine (physical or virtual). If you need to add additional monitors to your local configuration when running, for example, multiple VMware, RDP or Citrix sessions, you can use VDM on the client. In any event Virtual Display Manager is one of the best solutions for VDI multi-monitor support on the market.
