First, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

This update to Virtual Display Manager introduces a new feature – the ability to move selected windows (in normal state or maximized) to the desired Virtual Display at a click of a button using new Navigation Applet.

This is how it works:

  • Once VDM is running, double click on the VDM icon in the System Tray (see Fig.1).
  • Unlike the previous versions which will show VDM Configuration Screen, an Navigation Applet window will pop-up (Fig.2).
  • Clicking on the navigation buttons (left, top, right, etc.) will bring the selected window to the adjacent virtual display within the current physical monitor.
  • "ID" button in the middle of the Navigation Applet will show current Virtual Display Manager configuration.
  • Provided “Display” menu gives an option of loading VDM Configuration Screen via “VDM” menu.
  • In case selected window is intended to move to particular Virtual Display “Display #” menu can be used (Fig.3).
