First, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
This update to Virtual Display Manager introduces a new feature – the ability to move selected windows (in normal state or maximized) to the desired Virtual Display at a click of a button using new Navigation Applet.
This is how it works:
- Once VDM is running, double click on the VDM icon in the System Tray (see Fig.1).
Unlike the previous versions which will show VDM Configuration Screen, an Navigation Applet window will pop-up (Fig.2).
Clicking on the navigation buttons (left, top, right, etc.) will bring the selected window to the adjacent virtual display within the current physical monitor.
"ID" button in the middle of the Navigation Applet will show current Virtual Display Manager configuration.
Provided “Display” menu gives an option of loading VDM Configuration Screen via “VDM” menu.
In case selected window is intended to move to particular Virtual Display “Display #” menu can be used (Fig.3).
